FABRICATOR
Duties include shearing and bending reinforced steel.Essential Skills: - Ability to work safely in a team environment while focused on product quality; - Ability to work in a physically demanding job with a willingness to learn; - Ability to read metric specs; - Proven ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment. PRODUCTION MANAGER Duties
include managing the safe & efficient production of high quality
products & moulds, ensuring compliance with all applicable
standards/specifications; support of Sales & Marketing, Technical
& Shipping teams efforts; assist the company in continuous
improvement initiatives striving for an increase in overall sales &
profit margins. Qualifications: • Post secondary diploma in Engineering (preferably civil) or Industrial Management an asset; • 3 to 5 years manufacturing management experience or project management work required; • Proven track record with an ability to deliver quality products on time while working in a fast paced environment; • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), & BOM’s & Routings required; • Exceptional skills in plan reading required; knowledge of takeoffs & estimating an asset; • Experience with structural underground & above ground precast concrete structures (design/use/installation/maintenance) & methods of construction an asset; • Experience in structural steel manufacturing (moulds) an asset; • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor & develop front line supervisors & foster a cohesive team; • Demonstrated organizational & record keeping skills; ability to efficiently & accurately plan & manage a large volume of detail; • Strong analytical & problem solving skills, excellent communication skills required.
