Jeff Bradfield, Anchor CEO

Message From The CEO, Jeff Bradfield

In 1987 the World Commission on Environment and Development defined Sustainable Development as development to "meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs". It is noteworthy that this definition is not anti-growth, but rather supports a new approach to development and reflects the need to measure impacts.

We believe that most of North America's infrastructure systems do meet our current needs, but sadly, they also threaten our future generation’s ability to meet their own needs. Simply put, massive "Infrastructure Deficits" which much of the developed world are currently experiencing are thinly veiled methods of increasing our own current standard of living, while pushing the costs for our excess onto future generations, potentially handicapping them from living at least as well as the current and past several generations have experienced. The Anchor Group of Companies believes that it is incumbent on our current generation to reverse this trend as quickly as possible, thereby ensuring continuing health and prosperity for many generations to come.

Our experience over the last 40 years of manufacturing a wide variety of products and systems for sanitary sewage, storm water, fire protection, electrical, transportation and communications systems, combined with our love for the environment and a culture of innovation, make our company uniquely positioned to examine current infrastructure paradigms and to design and offer newer more sustainable systems for many infrastructure needs. For these reasons we dedicate ourselves and our efforts to developing commercially and environmentally prosperous products and systems to meet the needs of current and future generations.

We sincerely hope you will join us in our efforts to protect the future of our children, their children and our planet by working with us to develop and implement a new series of Infrastructure Products and systems.

We welcome your comments, input and support.
